About 

Belon Mata Temple is an ancient Shaktipeeth located in Belon village near Narora in the Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh, dedicated to Goddess Sarvamangala, the goddess of happiness and well-being. Located on the banks of the Ganges River, this temple is renowned for its wish-fulfilling powers.
Especially on the eighth day of the bright fortnight (Shukla Paksha), a large crowd of devotees gathers here. During Navratri, people also come in large numbers to seek the Mother Goddess’s blessings. Bathing in the Ganga and visiting the Goddess are believed to bring happiness, peace, and fulfillment of desires.

Once, while Shiva and Parvati were wandering around, they saw a rock at this place, on which Parvati rested. While resting, Parvati began to experience immense peace and joy. Then a child arrived.

Special Puja

1- From Chaitra Navratri Pratipada to Navami, a morning procession is taken out on the Parikrama route on Triyodashi, followed by a havan at night. On Chaturdashi, starting at 4 a.m., the Sacrifice Day is celebrated, where coconuts are sacrificed followed by a feast and prasad is distributed. 
2. A fair is held during the Gupt Navratri in the month of Ashadha.
3. Navratri (Kwar) in the month of Ashwin – from Pratipada to Navami.
On Trayodashi, a morning procession is taken out along the Parikrama route, followed by a havan (fire sacrifice) at night.

From Pratipada to Navami, on Triyodashi, Prabhat Ferry is taken out on the Parikrama Marg in the morning and a havan is performed in the night.

Location and How to reach

🚗 By Road (Car/Taxi/Bus)

  • Route: Ghaziabad → Delhi–Meerut Expressway → take the exit toward Bulandshahr/Aligarh → go via Narora → Belon village.

  • Distance: ~145 km from Delhi; approx. 60 km east of Aligarh.

  • Tip: Once you reach Narora (about 5 km from the temple), hire a local auto-rickshaw or taxi for the temple area.

🚆 By Train + Local Transport

  • Nearest station: Rajghat Narora (~5 km from temple) on the Aligarh–Bulandshahr–Narora route

  • From Ghaziabad, take a train or EMU to Aligarh/Aligarh Junction, then board a connecting train or bus/taxi to Rajghat Narora.

✈️ By Air

  • Nearest airport: IGI Airport, Delhi (~145 km away).

  • From there, hire a taxi straight to Belon via expressway, or take a train to Aligarh and continue by road.

  • Local auto, bus or e-rickshaw is available from Narora or Rajghat Narora to the temple The road to the temple is good, the crowd is more during festivals
