Many religious sites within the Dibai Tehsil area are mentioned in the Puranas. Sections 24-52 of the Garg Samhita mention that the Ramghat\/Rajghat area was once ruled by a demon named Kolasur. Lord Krishna’s brother, Balarama, saved the people from his terror to get rid of him, he killed him and the place where he killed the demon named Kolasur with his weapon plough and the place where the blood stained plough was washed is Harduaganj Tehsil Kol which is currently situated in Aligarh district.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Ramghat:<\/h2>

Ramghat is located 18 km east of Dibai on the banks of the Ganges. Ramghat is also known as Ramtirtha. This place has been a place of penance for great saints. The Vankhandeshwar Mahadev Temple, dating back to the Mahabharata period, holds great historical significance.<\/p>

Lord Krishna’s elder brother, Balram, gained fame here during his stay on the Ganges at Ramghat by worshipping and donating to Vankhandeshwar Mahadev. Additionally, the ashrams of Nanua Chaprasi, Ghade Wale Baba, and several other saints are also established here.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Narora:<\/h2>

Narora town is located approximately 15 km from Dibai. A nuclear power plant is located here on the Ganges River. In 1955, the late Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant also visited here.<\/p>

The tomb of Babu Kalyan Singh, former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Governor of Rajasthan, is also located in Narora. Narora has been established on the world stage after the foundation stone of the nuclear power centre was laid by late Indira Gandhi in the year 1974.<\/p>

Narora has gained considerable international recognition due to the installation of two 220-megawatt units and the efficient management of the nuclear power station, which has received numerous awards. Due to the clean environmental management along the banks of the Ganges River in Narora, Various species of migratory birds reside here in large numbers.<\/p>

A large number of dolphins are also found in the Ganges River. Several endangered species, including the elk and crocodile, have been protected here. The Uttar Pradesh State Government has established the National Conservation Area (NCA) for supplying irrigation to the eastern districts of In 1962, a decision was made to construct a parallel canal to the existing canal in the east. This was completed in 1967. It includes 62 gates to control the entire Ganges River. In 1978, the Lower Ganges Canal was opened from Narora.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Rajghat <\/span><\/h2>

Rajghat is located near Biharghat, on the railway line. Rajghat is described as the temporary capital of Maharajadhiraja “Nal” of Narwargarh, Madhya Pradesh. The Maharaja would come here to bathe in the Ganges and offer alms.<\/span><\/p>

Presently, the management of the Vedanta Temple, the Ashram of the renowned saint Sitaram Baba, the Sanskrit school of Arya Samaj, Kalyan Ashram, is being handled by Shri Prabodha Ashram Ji Maharaj and Gyanswaroop Brahmachari.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Karnavas <\/span><\/h2>

Located 8 km west of Rajghat, near Dibai, Karnavas is home to the Maa Katyani Devi Shaktipeeth. During both Navaratris, millions of people visit both Balon and Karnavas annually to seek the goddess’s darshan and fulfill their wishes. <\/span>According to the description mentioned in the Mahabharata text, the rock on which Maharaja Karna used to sit and donate 1.25 maunds of gold daily, is present in this temple near the temple of the Mother Goddess.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Lord Bhuteshwar Shiva temple established 420 years ago is established and worship in front of the huge statue of Hanumanji situated near it is considered to be fruitful. Famous saint Udia Baba also worshipped Swami Karpatriji and Anyapurna for many years.<\/span><\/p>

Saints from across the country have visited Karnavas to seek his blessings, and the entire family of Maharaja Bharat Singh has visited here to gain religious knowledge. The renowned poet Kaka Hathrasi used to stay in Karnavas for a month every year.<\/span>He would spend an hour daily resting in the lap of Mother Ganga. Currently, the ashram of Narayan Swarup Brahmachari Ji is located here. Goenka Poddar, founder of the Satsang bookstore Geeta Press, also spent months here, attracting visitors from across the country.People came from all over.
